Welcome to The Workplace Violence Mitigation Podcast : Workplace violence—more specifically, active shooter events- is senseless and evil, claiming far too many lives every year. Part of the problem is that employers often ignore the threat, and the general public assumes that either someone will come to save them or that such an event could never happen here. Neither belief is true, and neither mindset will protect you. People have the power to be their own heroes. Each of us has the ability, deep within, to become the Warrior Evolved.
